National Women’s Parliament held in Vijaywada

The three-day National Women’s Parliament (NWP) was conducted at Pavitra Sangamam, Vijaywada.

The women’s parliament was an attempt to showcase proven women delegates from across the world sharing their experiences and observations. The proceedings were beamed to hundreds of colleges.

Over 10,000 girl students of higher education, women legislators, Members of Parliament, and corporate women leaders from India and abroad attended the event.

The event, which is being organised by the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in association with MIT School of Government, is aimed at igniting and strengthening the sense of social responsibility among women of India.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was the chief patron of the conference. Dr. Sivaprasada Rao was the chairman of the three-day conference.
